My Book – Startup Journey
How does it feel when a dream comes true?
Incredible, right?
Becoming a published author was one of my biggest dreams. Honestly, I never thought it would happen so soon. While many people dream of writing a book, only a few actually turn that dream into reality. But I’ve learned something powerful: if you truly want something from the bottom of your heart, the universe aligns to help you achieve it.
When I began my career journey, I faced numerous challenges and setbacks. But once I got my first job, I made it my mission to help others start their careers too.

Let me share a story that’s very close to my heart.
One of my friends, who completed a BCA degree with me, was lost and directionless after graduation. One day, I met his father. I still remember his words:
“Son, please help my child. I can’t even afford to buy him a computer. I don’t know how, but you must help. It’s your responsibility now.”
He said this because he believed in me. He trusted my abilities. So, I invited his son to stay with me. I gave him shelter, began mentoring him, and quickly realized that programming wasn’t his strength. I found a UI/UX design coaching institute and enrolled him there. At the time, I was earning just ₹5,000–6,000 a month. Still, I managed to pay the rent, cover our living expenses, and even pay his coaching fees.
Eventually, I helped him get a job in the same organization I was working at. The moment he joined, I felt an overwhelming sense of fulfillment. His parents’ happiness? Unforgettable.
This is just one story. I have many more.
There was a colleague who had lost all hope and was ready to return to his village. I trained him, helped him get placed, and today, he’s doing really well in his career. Some of the people I helped didn’t even have a technical background. One had a B.A. degree, but I taught him PHP and MySQL—and today, he’s earning more than I did at the time.
These experiences have stayed with me forever.
Whenever I reflect on my early career struggles, I get emotional. I’ve walked the difficult path, and I deeply connect with fresh graduates who are trying to find their way after completing their degrees. Each time I meet a fresher, all those memories come flooding back, and I think:
“Why should everyone have to suffer if someone else already has?”
Just last year, I met a fresh graduate at my workplace. He was excited to join the company. HR assigned him a seat next to mine. We started talking, and as the conversation went deeper, I was shocked—he was earning just ₹15,000 a month in a metro city like Delhi. I asked how he managed. He replied, “I live with friends, somehow I’m managing.”
This is the harsh reality for many fresh graduates even today.
I started my journey back in 2005–2006. Back then, there was no one to guide me. Sadly, things haven’t changed much. That’s when I decided—it’s time to write a book. A book that can help people understand the world of software development and make their career journeys smoother.
That’s exactly why I wrote “Startup Journey: How to Build, Grow and Scale a Product?”
Within 48 hours of its release, the book became a bestseller on Amazon!
This book is for everyone—whether you’re a fresh graduate, a product manager, or an aspiring entrepreneur. It’s not a programming guide, but it will help you understand the fundamentals of software development, the tools and technologies used in the industry, and most importantly, how to build, grow, and scale a software product from scratch.
It took me 15–16 years to learn everything in this book—the principles of good programming, writing clean code, and mastering the tools and technologies needed to create scalable software. Whether you want to be a software engineer, product manager, or startup founder, this book will give you a solid foundation.
So now you know why I wrote this book—to simplify others’ journeys and ensure they don’t have to struggle the way I did.
If you’d like a copy, the book is available on Amazon.in, Amazon.com, and Flipkart.
