👉 Degrees won’t make you wealthy. Execution, skills, and self-investment will.
I was born into a middle-class family with very limited resources. From as early as 6th standard, I learned how to wash and iron my own clothes. Every Sunday, I would go to the village well, wash all my clothes, iron them, and prepare myself for the coming week.
My parents were busy with agricultural work. They didn’t know what was happening in school — in fact, government schools back then had no concept of parent-teacher meetings.
But here’s the beauty of it: whatever little they had, they gave for our education. When I scored a first division in exams, they were overjoyed — not because they knew my exact marks, but because in their eyes, passing with first division was enough.
That became my satisfaction level too.
Growing Up in Scarcity
Life with limited resources taught me discipline, patience, and how to survive without abundance. I finished my schooling, completed BCA, and for the first time stepped out of my village into a city — a dream come true.
Like every middle-class kid, I was told:
👉 Government job = stability
👉 Private job = backup option
So, after BCA, I moved to Delhi, the capital. But when I saw the crowd, the competition, the confidence of people, I was terrified. “How will I compete with them? I am so introverted… will I survive?”
Still, after many struggles, I landed my first job.
And like every middle-class dream — I got married, raised kids, bought a house, and finally a car. At that point, I thought: This is it. Life is settled. I’ll clear off my EMIs and everything will be fine.
But life doesn’t work according to our plans.
The Day Everything Collapsed
One afternoon, I got a call from my office:
“Today is your last working day.”
Just like that, everything collapsed. My years of planning, my “settled” life, my confidence — gone.
For 2–3 days, I was broken. But then something clicked inside me.
👉 Why do we middle-class people depend only on one source of income?
I had 16–17 years of professional experience and at least 20–25 skills. Yet here I was — hopeless, begging for another job.
That’s when I told myself:
“No, Imtiyaz. This is wrong.”
Awakening: The Harsh Truth About Money
I started following successful people, attending free and paid webinars, and reading books. What I discovered shocked me:
💡 People were earning in a week what I wasn’t earning in a year.
💡 Most didn’t have IIT, IIM, or Harvard degrees.
💡 They weren’t chasing certificates — they were mastering skills, execution, and business.
And I realized… my childhood belief was wrong.
Back then, I thought:
👉 “The government should distribute the rich people’s money among the poor.”
But no — the rich weren’t rich because of luck or privilege alone. They invested in themselves, learned how to create wealth, and hired degree-holders to work for them.
That’s the difference.
The Middle-Class Trap
We middle-class people:
- Depend only on jobs.
- Believe degrees = money.
- Work hard, but only make others richer.
That’s why decades pass and we’re still stuck in the same cycle. Unless we learn how to use our own skills and experiences to create wealth, nothing will change.
My Turning Point
For the past 3 years, I’ve invested heavily in myself. I’ve learned, tested, and applied different methods to build additional income streams.
And today, I teach professionals how to build a second source of income without quitting their jobs — using only their existing skills and experiences.
That’s how my framework MBAx — Mastering Business by Action and Execution was born.
Through MBAx, I help people:
âś… Identify winning ideas
âś… Build execution strategies
âś… Scale their ideas into real businesses
All within just 90 days.
If someone like me — with no business family background, an introvert, a simple middle-class guy — can do it, anyone can.
Final Thought
The truth is — schools and colleges train us to get jobs, not to create wealth.
But if you want to break free from the middle-class trap, you must:
👉 Stop depending only on one source of income.
👉 Invest in your own self-development.
👉 Learn how to turn your skills into money.
Because one phone call — “Today is your last working day” — can change everything.
