Often, people think software development is outdated and is being replaced by other modern technologies like AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and robotics. Do you really think so? 👉 How much do you spend on holiday outings in a year?
👉 How much do you spend on pizza parties in a year?
👉 How much do you spend on kitty parties in a year?
👉 How much do you spend on get-togethers in a year?
👉 How much do you spend on shopping in a year?

And the list goes on…
Have you thought about how much money you spend on these things every year?
Calculate and think about it.
But the surprising thing is that there is not a single item where you have spent a penny on your own, your spouse’s, or your children’s self-development or self-learning.
Isn’t it?
👉 Did you spend on self-help books or self-learning?
👉 Did you spend on any course for yourself, your child, or your spouse?
👉 Did you purchase any self-growth course to grow your salary or package instead of just waiting for 5% or 10% appraisal?
👉 Did you join any mentorship program, master class, free webinar, or seminar?
What does that mean?
We are ready to spend a lot of money on other things, but we are not ready to spend a single rupee on our self-improvement or self-development.
Then why are you upset during the appraisal cycle when you get a 5% or 10% raise?
Why do you blame your boss or seniors, thinking they have taken credit for your hard work?
Why do you think, “I am not lucky enough, that’s why it happens only to me”?
No, my friend. It’s not like that. If you think this way, you are wrong. You are responsible for your own, your child’s, and your spouse’s career and life. Stop complaining and start investing in your self-improvement and self-development. This is the only way to grow in your life or career. There is no age limit to learning in life. The most successful people are successful not because they are lucky, but because they are lifelong learners and invest a lot of money in their self-development. We see their front-end, but we are not aware of their backend efforts and what they do on a daily basis.
