We human beings learn from our society and copy others. It’s human nature. We can understand how we copy from others through various examples:

👉 We are born into our society,
👉 then grow up by copying others,
👉 then go to school or college by copying others — If not, what will society think if my children don’t go to school?
👉 Find a job by copying others — If not, people will think I am jobless and I won’t find a good partner to marry.
👉 Get married by copying others — If not, what will people think even if I am not a typical man or woman? If I am gay or lesbian, then there is a bigger problem.
👉 Raise children by copying others — If not, there is also a big problem. People will start noticing why you don’t have children.
👉 Get retired by copying others too — If not, people will say, “Why are you still doing this or that? Maybe his/her children are not looking after him/her.”

This is the life cycle, and we all follow it. A few exceptions break this cycle and add one more stage called “Success.” These people are called legends like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, etc.

Have you ever thought about why we do this? If someone does one thing, then we start doing the same. Apart from the above life cycle examples, there are a couple of other examples of how we copy others:

👉 If Ramesh’s son is studying engineering, then Suresh also thinks the same.
👉 If Rahul’s daughter is becoming a doctor, then I will do the same for my daughter.
👉 If Joseph is starting a business, I will do the same.
👉 If Sonu switched his job and got an 80% hike, then I will also change my job.
👉 If Ray purchased a house or a new car, his neighbor Jay also thinks the same.

And you can see very recent examples like:

  • One company started laying off people, then others also started the same.

Why?

Here is the answer:

👉 Because we don’t know our vision, mission, and goals
👉 Because we don’t know our passion, what we love
👉 Because we don’t believe in ourselves,
👉 Because we don’t think beyond our limits,
👉 Because we don’t take risks due to fear of what people will say if we fail.

By the way, after spending 16 precious years of my life, I found my passion. I think you understand, right?

Have you ever seen a post like this from me?

I think not.

So, this is my real passion, which I love a lot. For the rest of my life, I will follow my passion. I will guide and help people who don’t know their passion and transform their lives to live a better life.

So, now the question is for you:

What is your passion? What do you love more than anything else in your life?

Mention it in the comments.
