If you are running a startup, there must be a strong desire and clear vision to contribute to society by solving a problem. But most startups do the opposite. They focus on product development, building good teams, and using AI-driven tools with earning money mindset. They do not focus on solving a problem; rather, they always think about how quickly they can become a unicorn. That’s the reason why, after 8–10 years, they are not able to pay their employees’ salaries.
Isn’t that true?
How fantastic your product or services are does not matter.
How enthusiastic your team is does not matter.
How AI-driven tools you are using does not matter.
Until or unless you don’t have a positive mindset towards solving a problem.
Along with a positive mindset, there must be a clear vision, mission, and goals for at least the next 5 years.
Most startups do the opposite.
They focus on building top-class products and services.
They hire top-class talent for product development.
They even invest a lot of money in integrating various costly tools, technologies and advertising.
But they do this without having a clear vision, mission, or goals.
Without a mindset of solving a problem for society.
Rather, they focus on just earning money. I agree they work hard but with a money mindset rather than truly making an impact for the society.
That’s the reason most startups are unable to pay their employees’ salaries after 8-10 years. If you are running a startup and cannot pay your employees’ salaries, don’t you think it’s a matter of thinking?
If you run a shop, after 8-10 years, you can start earning money from a small shop, or if you have the right strategies, you can expand or convert a small shop business into a chain business. For that, you just need the right strategies, a clear vision, mission, and goals, including a positive mindset to solve a problem, rather than just keeping in mind that you want to become a unicorn, a millionaire or a billionaire.
