The word awareness is very powerful. I would say that
“Awareness is the key to move fast and to get fast growth in life”.
When I am talking about awareness I am not talking about awareness in any single aspect of our life. I am talking about all aspects of our life. We should be aware of every point of time and should take actions accordingly. Life gives us opportunities multiple times but we ignore them. We should keep our eyes open, have awareness of everything, what is happening around us and move forward. Do not give a chance to regret later.
When I started my career. I was not aware about the scope of my career. I have done BCA from a small city Alwar, Rajasthan. When I asked, what is the BCA. The receptionist told me that this is a computer course and you can get a job in the computer field after its completion. That shit. I was not clear with that answer but still I joined the course without awareness of what it is. The institute was authorized by MCRPV university. Normally, we called it college but really it was not. To be very honest I have never seen a college in my life. But still I am very grateful to that institute from the bottom of my heart that I worked with many IITians and IIM MBA students and trained lots of them.
I accept what the universe gave me without having the awareness of what was my value. I struggled a lot to start my career. I started my career from 2.5 thousand rupees only.
Why?
Because of a lack of awareness. First time in my life I came to a metro city from a small city. It was a big thing for me. I hardly even know anyone here except one of my friends. I can say that there was a lack of circle too because I am an introverted kind of person. If you don’t have a good circle then your thought and belief also would be limited. If you have a circle of good and very well aware people then your success and growth automatically increase in your life.
How?
You’ll start to implement what others are doing. You don’t agree to join for a very small salary. You will remain updated all the time about what’s going on in the market. Always you will think high, not limited.
Due to lack of awareness and limited thoughts I started my career journey from a very little salary. After giving my 10 years to the corporate I get to know what I am doing. Actually I was not getting what I deserved. But in corporate nobody cares what your experience is and what you are doing. They suck you always. Followings are my learnings and takeaways as
Don’t be too loyal to the company. It doesn’t mean not working for the company.
Don’t be too committed, it doesn’t mean do not commit to your role and duties.
Don’t be too responsible, it doesn’t mean do not be responsible for your work.
Don’t be too dedicated, it doesn’t mean do not work with dedication.
Don’t be too accountable, it doesn’t mean do not take accountability at all.
Don’t be too focused, it doesn’t mean do not work with focus at all.
Conclusion
So in summary I would like to take all the corporate working professional attention or who are going to start their career in the corporate world. What things can make you weak in your career. Learn from someone’s mistakes who already faced the mistakes in their career. Do not repeat all these mistakes in your career. If you do so, you will regret it someday for sure.
