It seems awkward to you but it’s true. I observed it in my life and I am sharing my real experiences with you.
How can we do anything?
Yes, that’s true. I hope we all are aware how our body parts work. We have read it in our schooling. Our brain controls all our body parts. We can understand this with the help of a very simple and basic example.
Suppose someone asked you to give her a glass of water.
What will you do?
You will go to the kitchen and pick up an empty glass then fill that glass from the water and return back from the kitchen. Give it to the person, right?
This is your physical activity in which we can observe what actions have been taken by you to bring a glass of water.
Have you ever thought about how that is actually performed internally by your body?
If you didn’t get a chance to think deeper about it. It’s okay. Don’t worry. Let me explain to you my learning and observation.
Our body is a machine just like a computer or robot. If you are aware about how robots work then it would be very easy to understand how our human body internally works. We give commands to a robot. The CPU or brain of robot accepts that command and ask the robot to do the particular task.
The brain is a CPU in the human body. In a similar way our brain gives commands to our body sense organs. In our example when someone asks to give a glass of water then
What happened?
A command was given to you. You listened to that command with the help of your body sense organs as ears and the signal went to your brain. Our brain is our CPU and enables you to go to the kitchen and come back with a glass of water.
So, who is controlling and driving us?
Our mind!
Yes, that’s 100% true. Our mind controls our body and us. According to a study 2000–5000 thoughts come into our brain within an hour. I hope you have also observed that our brain works during our sleep. That’s why dreams come during the sleep hours.
Why?
Because our mind continuously works day and night. Our mind stops us from doing anything. It works as an advisor. All the feelings come from our heart. Sometimes good feelings come from our heart. But our mind, the advisor of our body, stops us from doing that work.
He says what are you doing? Don’t do it. This is not for you no matter how good feeling is. But when we are able to control our mind we step out and do the things. I am not saying it without learning or experiencing. I experienced it multiple times in my life. I am sharing with you my most recent examples which I have been gone through
First example, I have been habitual of morning tea earlier but now it’s been 18 days I haven’t touched the tea. Many times my mind encourages me to take tea once a day at least. But I said just shut up.
Second example, Earlier I was not used to getting up early in the morning. But from last one month I daily get up early in the morning between 4:30AM to 5:00 AM
How did it happen?
Yes, that’s right. All this happens by controlling my mind and emotions. I started taking warm water with ginger, lemon and honey instead of tea. Which is really helpful for my health. By The way you can also start. You will love it.

Conclusion
We can do what we think but our mind stops us from taking actions in our daily life. It’s 100% true. This is experienced by me and I thought why should It not be shared with you as well. That’s why yoga and meditation help people in concentrating and controlling their emotions. If we can control our mind we can do what we want to achieve in our life.
