Many people are afraid or hesitant to seek help, guidance, or support to start their career journey. A strong career foundation leads to a good life. There is a huge gap between college and corporate journeys. Corporations do not look at your fancy degrees; they just need smart and productive people.
I still remember my first train journey from Alwar to Jodhpur. I asked multiple times to different people when this train would reach and how much time it would take to reach there. One of them got irritated and told me, “Your destination is the last one. Don’t worry; the train will stop there.” Then I felt relaxed. I didn’t enjoy the journey because there was a doubt and fear that if I missed the destination. That was my first train experience with a lot of doubts, fear, anxiety, and uncertainty.
It happens with almost everyone. Some of them speak the truth, and many of us feel ashamed to tell their stories. But the same happens in our lives many times whenever we do something for the first time in our life. Whenever we do anything for the first time, we remain fearful, doubtful and uncertain about that task, even we could not enjoy it fully.

The same thing happens in our career journey as well. When we start our career journey, we are full of doubts, anxiety, fear, and uncertainty. What will happen? But still, we do not take this seriously. When I started my career journey, there were not enough resources. So, I was doubtful, fearful, and uncertain about my career.
But now, there are a lot of solutions available to start and build a strong and good career foundation. But the surprising thing is that people are still fearful, doubtful, and uncertain about their careers.
I don’t know why?
There are a lot of solutions available in the market. It’s very easy to reach or connect with people just sitting at your home. There are a lot of coaches and mentors available to guide you or mentor you to start your careers. Then what’s the problem? Still, if you think I am doubtful, fearful, or uncertain about my career or life, no one can help you. Even God cannot help you, my friend.
People are afraid to talk about private coaching or mentorship programs. They think I have invested a lot of money in my B.Tech or MCA; I know everything. Why should I invest in private coaching or mentoring? Here they made a mistake. They don’t realize it right now, but they will realize it later, after 10–15 years later. Like I realized after 10 years of my corporate journey. They do not understand how big the gap is between college and corporate. Whatever you study in your college is nothing according to the companies and organizations. They do not look at your degrees or good marks. They need smart and productive people. Then you will realize what I did wrong.
No one can become a champion without a coach or mentor. Millions of people play cricket having a dream of becoming a champion, but no one can become a champion without a coach or mentor. There is an important role of mentors and coaches to motivate us and move us forward to the next level in both our career and life journeys. Do not be afraid or hesitate to take help from them to fly in your career and life journeys.
